Veteran Berries Awarded Farmer Veteran Fellowship Fund Grant to Expand Elderberry Production
Decatur, MS — May 1, 2026
Veteran Berries, LLC., a veteran-owned agricultural business focused on producing high-quality American elderberry products, has been selected as a 2026 recipient of the Farmer Veteran Fellowship Fund (Tractor Supply Foundation) through the Farmer Veteran Coalition (FVC).
The award includes a $1,000 grant designated for the purchase of essential farm equipment and supplies, supporting the company’s continued growth and operational capacity.
Founded on the principle “Our Mission Is Your Wellness,” Veteran Berries is committed to delivering natural, effective wellness products while continuing a legacy of service beyond the military.
“This grant allows us to reinvest directly into our farm and expand our ability to grow American elderberries,” said Dewayne Hamrick, founder of Veteran Berries. “We’re thankful and honored to be part of the FVC network of veteran farmers dedicated to feeding our communities and building sustainable agricultural businesses.”
The Farmer Veteran Fellowship Fund supports veteran farmers and ranchers across the country by providing small grants to assist in the purchase of equipment and resources needed to scale their operations.
Veteran Berries plans to utilize the funding immediately, with updates and progress to be shared across its social media platforms.
